General Objectives

This program prepares specialists in the development, auditing, and management of secure information systems, within a constantly evolving technological and regulatory landscape. It takes a comprehensive approach that blends advanced scientific and technical expertise with a deep understanding of the organizational, legal, and ethical aspects of information systems security.

Equip students with the necessary skills and techniques to:

- Apply cryptography, data security, and secure communication techniques to protect information systems against threats and attacks

- Develop secure software applications by implementing secure coding principles and vulnerability analysis methods.

- Conduct audits, testing, and forensic investigations to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents.

- Apply cybersecurity and data privacy standards, norms, and regulatory frameworks.
